Experience
Currently working as English/Writing tutor for Brainfuse.com, with high school and college students. Scored very well on my English SAT score (740). Have been working as a freelance copy writer, editor and proofreader for various advertising agencies in and around Baltimore for the past few years, consistently assist clients with improving their resumes and provide content and grammatical feedback to college and graduate-level students. Amber N. Browning has been putting together puzzles since she could get her grubby little kid hands on the pieces, creating masterpieces that range from farm animals to a 3D Eiffel Tower (much to her mother’s dismay, who had to help her both times). A strange way to start an introduction, but an ultimate analogy for any task Amber tackles; assessing all pieces of a job or challenge, then taking the pieces of the hypothetical project and creating a whole, functioning picture. These days, she doesn’t use her mom for help. A knack for reading and writing at young age has given Amber the ability to craft her most intricate projects through the medium of the English language. Added in that she has a superior eye for editing, catching mistakes, writing to her intended audience and has an overall sense of humbleness about her ability (and, let’s not miss a sense of humor, as well), she is an ideal candidate for a host of outlets which may need anything from a blank slate to a final polish. Although writing and editing are both her favorite pastime (and where she seeks potential job opportunities), she also had an extensive background in administration management, media planning, business strategy, accounting and just about anything you may throw at her. She is an eager, quick learn and, as so many women call themselves these days, a Jane of all Trades.
